Education activist Christine, mom at 43

Sex And The City star Cynthia Nixon and her partner Christine Marinoni yesterday showed off their son for the first time.

who has been in a relationship with Cynthia since 2004, gave birth to Max Ellington Nixon-Marinoni in New York on Monday.

Cynthia, 44, who plays Miranda Hobbes in the hit series, already has two children – a daughter aged 15 and a son, eight – from a relationship with English professor Danny Mozes. They split in 2003.

Cynthia and Christine met at an education rally in 2002 and became a couple two years later.
